Make sure to buy the basics such as jumpsuits, caps, mittens, booties, socks, bibs, and shirts for baby boys.  Of course you’ll also need little dresses for baby girls.  You might also want to set some money aside for burp clothing.  Don’t think haute couture, just invest in comfort and safety.   Babies are delicate and you wouldn’t want to risk their health or well-being.  You can keep him safe from rashes or serious illnesses by simply purchasing the correct clothing.  Keep this idea in mind as you shop for your newborn’s first set of wardrobe pieces.

Sure, the newborn phase is short but this does not mean there’s no need to invest in some decent clothing.  Try to find joy in setting up the clothing options for newborns just as much as you find joy in spending time with your little one.
